Eight legs, one very confused pug. The Octopug octopus costume uses a saddle-style design that sits over the back rather than wrapping the whole body, which keeps things cool and easy.
It is made from a breathable cotton-polyester blend that does not trap heat, an important detail for a flat-faced breed that struggles to regulate temperature. The saddle straps adjust for a snug fit and the whole thing slips on in one movement.

The saddle design is forgiving, so exact sizing matters less here than on a full bodysuit. Still measure chest girth so the straps sit behind the front legs without rubbing.

Pugs have a broad chest, a thick neck and a short back, so the chest is the measurement that matters most. Use a soft measuring tape and measure snugly, not tight.
- Chest girth: around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
- Neck: around the base of the neck, where the collar sits.
- Back length: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
- Weight: helpful as a check, but always go by the chest first.
Compare your pug's measurements with the size chart on the product page. Between two sizes? Choose the larger one for hoodies, sweaters, pajamas and coats so your pug can move and breathe comfortably.
