- Collo: alla base del collo, dove si mette il collare.
- Lunghezza della schiena: dalla base del collo alla base della coda.

Pugs have a broad chest, a thick neck and a short back, so the chest is the measurement that matters most. Use a soft measuring tape and measure snugly, not tight.

Chest girth: around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.

Neck: around the base of the neck, where the collar sits.

Back length: from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.

Weight: helpful as a check, but always go by the chest first.
